Only one more week before school starts back and I go back to work as well. Don't think we're looking forward to it very much - does anyone. Kim will be starting in Year 10 so just has two years left at High School so these two years are important, a countdown to her GCSE's. Alex will be starting College (or 6th Form) where he'll be for the next two years. His lessons are split between two schools who are about a few miles apart. They put on a mini bus for them but can already see times when he'll be wanting lifts if his classes are late or he misses the bus etc etc. Might take a while for him to get into this new routine. Think hes looking forward to not having to wear a uniform after seven years!!
Not much been going on here in the Sutton household. Kids have just been lounging around the house on their laptops talking to their friends!!! Sometimes I can't understand why they can't have these friends round or go to the park and actually SPEAK to them!!! But they seem happy with it all.
Off for a walk this morning and maybe pick some more blackberries. Hoping to do something tomorrow as its Bank Holiday Monday but then again everywhere will be busy as its meant to be nice weather wise so the beaches will be packed.
No scrapping for weeks. I did get some new Cosmo Cricket papers this week, the Boyfriend and Earth Love ones (thanks Jane!!), so maybe I can get stuck into crafting this week!! Would like to do a mini book of Alex's school years using up some leftover photos from layouts etc. Have bribed him into letting me take a photo of him holding his exam results sometime today! He'll do anything for a bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk!!
Been playing around with Photoshop Elements 7 all week, here are just a couple of photos that I've altered!! This is such fun!!
